Developing a Growth mind-set

Learning and development takes place under certain conditions among which are;

• Growth mind-set/the desire to continuously learn and develop
• Enabling environment –enriched with a culture of learning
• Leaders influence, challenge and exposure

All three create a great ecosystem for learning and growth, but to have all three can be rare. However, it does not mean that all is lost without all present. The strongest of the 3 is the first which is growth mind-set. Fortunately, that is the one we control. So let’s all take control and develop a growth mind-set and the desire to learn. Lets take ownership of our learning and make the most of every opportunity and add value to ourselves.
